Aspen class were lucky to receive a visit from local archaeologists who are working with the Highways at the black cat roundabout. They came to talk all about what their job entails and were able to show us some of their discoveries. They showed the class evidence of round houses, and we were able to link our knowledge of wattle and daub from 1666. We even had the chance to do some basket weaving.
