Year 4 RSPB Trip
During the spring term, year 4 have been learning about the rainforests of the world. We visited the local RSPB headquarters to compare the heathland habitat with rainforests. We measured the circumference of some silver birch trees to approximate their age. We also estimated the height. In a wooded area we carried out an invertebrate hunt. Some of us saw a fox, a muntjac, a squirrel, a goshawk, and red kites. We heard lots of little birds, but we didn't see many.
