"Tudor Homes are Burning down!"

After days of planning, building and perfecting our Tudor homes the time came to set them on fire in true 1666 style. We were fortunate enough to have a wonderful talk from the Sandy fire service. We learned all about fire safety and what to do in the event of a fire. The children were keen to practise the saying, "Get out, stay out and call the fire brigade out". We were able to have a goof look around the fire engine and were impressed that there were 21 hoses. Sadly it was a tad wet and windy, but we enjoyed it regardless. There was a moment when we thought that we wouldn't be able to light the houses as they wouldn't light, but finally they caught. We sang "London's burning" and watched the flames. It was great afternoon.
